I Recommend - The Uluru, Waterford

Something I've always wanted to include more and more on my blog is reviews of places I've visited, I'm constantly reading bloggers reviews as I tend to trust them more and it's something I'm going to include much more of and to start off I'm going introduce one of my all time favourite restaurants and bar The Uluru located near Ardkeen in Waterford.
Now I understand that when most bloggers do a review of places they have numerous pictures of their food however, me?? - Well, I have pictures of the cocktails and that's all you really need isn't it ;)

I first visited the Uluru last year when I finished my course in broadcast journalism and we all got together for a night out the first spot was the Uluru and it was fantastic.
Last Saturday when my friend Tanya came down to visit we decided to try the Uluru for some food and we were not disappointed, believe me.
When we first walked through the door we were greeted by the nicest waiter who showed us to our seats, the Uluru do a carvery daily from 12-3pm and then do a bar menu which is what we got.
First things first was to look at the cocktail menu, I mean who doesn't love a cocktail?? The cocktail menu is amazing and they only cost €7 each I mean you couldn't go wrong could you? It was the nicest drink I've ever drank and I'd go back any day just for the cocktails.

When it came to ordering dinner we're the pickiest people ever but I ordered chicken goujons potatoes and gravy...the dream dinner and it was fantastic. Roisin ordered the goujons too and Tanya ordered the fish it was delicious. I know what you're thinking but the menu had everything you could ask for from pasta to stir Fry's and a sirloin steak for only €19.99.

The one thing that really stands out for me is the staff there, everyone working there is so friendly and helpful, with some great banter floating around.
Overall I'd recommend the Uluru to everyone whether you want just a few drinks or a full meal it's the perfect place to go.
